This Acceptable use policy ("Policy") outlines the dos and don’ts for anyone accessing or using the Annature platform. By using our services, you agree to follow this Policy, which forms part of your Subscriber Agreement with Annature Pty Ltd (ACN 642 595 015).
Purpose of this policy
The Policy exists to ensure the Annature platform is used in a secure, lawful, and responsible way. It is designed to prevent misuse, protect users, and maintain the performance and integrity of our services.
Who this policy applies to
This Policy applies to everyone using the Annature platform, including individuals, organisations, partners, and API integrators. It covers all aspects of the platform, from document signing and identity verification to APIs, integrations, and support.
Using the platform responsibly
You must use the platform as intended, in compliance with all applicable laws, and with respect for the rights and privacy of others. This includes providing truthful information, safeguarding your account credentials, cooperating with our team on technical or legal issues, and following our guidance about how the platform should be used.
Anyone signing up for an account must ensure the information they provide is accurate and truthful. Attempts to create accounts using fake names, random characters, or misleading information may result in your IP address being blocked and your account immediately deleted. Annature employs a machine-learning algorithm to detect suspicious or fake sign-ups. If your account is flagged by this system due to a low risk score, it may be automatically disabled without notice.
Using a VPN when accessing or signing up to the platform is strongly discouraged. VPNs significantly increase your account's risk profile because they are commonly used by malicious actors attempting to avoid detection. Use of a VPN may result in your account being mistakenly flagged and removed.
Deliberate misuse is not allowed. You must not attempt to damage, reverse engineer, bypass security features, scrape or deep link content, misrepresent your identity, or use the platform to build competing services.
Content and behaviour we prohibit
The platform must not be used for anything illegal, abusive, or harmful. You must not upload or transmit content that contains malware or viruses, infringes on intellectual property or privacy rights, harasses or defames others, misleads users, or promotes violence or criminal behaviour. Spam, denial-of-service attacks, system exploitation, and sharing confidential information without permission are also prohibited.
What we may do if this policy is breached
If you violate this Policy, we may take steps such as issuing a warning, restricting access, removing harmful content, or suspending or terminating your account. In serious cases, we may refer the matter to authorities or seek legal remedies. Repeated or major violations may result in permanent loss of access.
How to report a breach
If you believe this Policy is being breached, contact us at support@annature.com.au. Please provide relevant details such as screenshots, links, or other documentation to help us investigate.
Updates to this policy
We may change this Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of the platform means you accept any updated terms.
If there’s a conflict with other terms
If this Policy conflicts with other terms we’ve agreed with you, such as those in your Subscriber Agreement, the terms in those documents take precedence.
