The problem

We've been using eSignatures for a while now, in previous roles and businesses. When we started our own business in 2018, we initially used DocuSign but switched to Annature when DocuSign significantly increased the cost of our subscription.

One of the problems we faced at that time was choosing an alternative, as there were so many options available.

The solution

We made a shortlist, trialled a few products, and for several reasons, we ultimately fell in love with Annature.

We saw the text messaging feature as an opportunity to improve the signing experience for our clients. Ensuring that we deliver the best service and the easiest process for our clients is always at the core of our business. The text messages also helped us improve the speed at which documents are signed and returned, adding great value to our internal operations.

We also appreciated the pay-as-you-go pricing, as our signing requirements fluctuate. Previously, we had to commit to lengthy contracts and upfront costs, which wasn’t ideal.

The outcome

Our team has also felt a significant difference, as their time is no longer being spent on low-value tasks like sending reminders or making phone calls just to chase a signature.

The most important asset in our business is our team. We see eSignatures as playing a small but important role in showing them that we value their time. Personally, I enjoy working in an organisation that values my time and doesn't expect me to shuffle paper.

The time and cost savings are a given, but client experience is key. It’s 2022, and for most of us, the expectation is to sign documents electronically. Chuck the printers in the bin!
