Just Better Care is Australia’s largest franchised provider of in-home aged care and disability support services, with 35 locations nationwide.

The Just Better Care Central Coast office, located in Gosford, NSW, has a dedicated team of office support staff and 65 local, caring Support Workers. They assist older Australians and people living with disabilities on the Central Coast with a wide range of needs.

We support between 150 to 200 clients every week, helping them remain independent and active in their communities. What drives us every day is seeing the impact we make in our clients' lives.

The problem

As an NDIS-registered provider and a provider of Home Care Packages, quality, compliance, and the safety of both our staff and clients are paramount.

Before implementing Annature, we faced ongoing challenges—particularly with vision-impaired clients—when it came to reviewing and signing documentation. Additionally, our team spent significant admin time manually preparing up to 14 onboarding documents, a requirement for some clients to begin receiving their support services.

The onset of COVID-19 in 2020 forced many businesses to adjust their way of working. At Just Better Care Central Coast, we needed a solution that would allow us to complete onboarding paperwork remotely while also limiting exposure to COVID-19 for the safety of both clients and team members. This led us to Annature.

The solution

Since digitising our onboarding documentation with Annature, we’ve significantly reduced admin time, and both clients and staff prefer the digital experience. It’s also more convenient for record-keeping, as digital copies are easily saved and sent to all signatories.

Once completed, signed documents go directly from Annature into the client’s profile, and the client also receives a copy for their records. Previously, our team had to scan and upload these documents after returning to the office from client visits. With Annature, we’ve eliminated this extra step, reducing both time spent on paperwork and our overall paper usage.

The outcome

We've been so impressed with Annature’s ease of use and efficiency that we’re now rolling it out for internal documentation as well. We embrace any opportunity to introduce technology and efficiencies into our operations while maintaining quality and compliance. Annature has been a game-changer for us—I only wish we had found this solution sooner!
