"As our NDIS-friendly online product marketplace grows, we needed a fast, intuitive solution to send seller agreements."— Kerry Kingham, CEO, The Chooze Shop.
The Chooze Shop is an online marketplace offering a wide range of NDIS-approved disability equipment, assistive technology, and supplies, with 130 sellers and 2,000 products currently. We are in an aggressive growth phase, aiming to expand to 1,000 sellers and 30,000 products.
The problem
Every seller who joins needs to sign an agreement outlining our terms and conditions. As we scale, we identified a need to automate this process through eSigning as part of the sellers’ onboarding, integrating it with our CRM, HubSpot, to keep it aligned with our pipeline.
We explored several possible solutions, considering ease of use and accessibility for users who are not already familiar with the technology. Annature was the perfect fit because of its functionality, which made it easy for our small team of eight to onboard sellers at scale. As soon as our customer success team gets verbal confirmation from a potential seller, the seller agreement is automatically sent through Annature.
Before Annature, we attached the agreement to an email and manually explained the signing process. Annature has simplified this step, allowing sellers to sign documents on the go, which is especially important as many small business owners don’t have time to be at their computers. Annature’s automatic reminders have saved our team valuable time, as they no longer need to follow up or check what’s been sent back.
The solution
When we first came on board, Annature’s support team helped us bulk-send agreements to our database of 130 existing sellers, since we didn’t have an agreement in place when they joined the platform. This update brought our database in line with our current terms and conditions and has further professionalized our operations.
The outcome
Annature’s support team was also instrumental in integrating the platform with HubSpot, making it easy to track seller agreements in our CRM dashboard. This has provided greater transparency around reporting, allowing us to easily monitor team performance against KPIs.
In summary, Annature has been an invaluable asset to our business. During our initial discussions, Annature was flexible about our needs and offered a fair pricing model without the lock-in contracts required by other eSigning providers. We also appreciated the ease of setup and the quick upskilling of our team. With Annature handling the 'grunt work,' our team now has more time to prioritize human interactions with sellers—a true win-win.
